Flammability: Calcium Resinate’s flammability has not placed it on the Hazmat scale or assigned it a category, however, Calcium Resinate can still produce a highly combustible dust that should be kept away from naked flames and strong sources of heat.
Health: Calcium Resinate has the potential to cause damage to organs through toxicity, and is considered a Category 2 chemical. This is possible both after a single exposure, and multiple exposures.
Reactivity: Calcium Resinate is typically non-reactive under normal conditions, but can act as a powerful oxidiser, and can cause fires as well as accelerate them. Heated containers with Calcium Resinate have the potential to explode, and must be kept away from reactive chemicals.
It's recommended to consult the specific Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for accurate and up-to-date information for a particular product.
